Granola butter is a versatile and delightful addition to your breakfast table. Creamy, nutty, and packed with wholesome ingredients, it's the perfect spread for your morning toast, a dip for fresh fruits, or an ingredient in your favorite recipes. What's more, making granola butter at home is easy and allows you to control the ingredients, ensuring a fresh and healthier alternative to commercial spreads. In this guide, we'll show you how to make your very own granola butter using Jamie's Farm Granola.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of your favorite Jamie's Farm granola: Choose a classic like Vanilla Bean or Maple Pecan, or a unique blend like Rosemary - the choice is yours.

  • Honey or maple syrup to taste: Our granolas are already sweetened with honey, but feel free to add honey or maple syrup to your taste.

  • 2-4 tbsp of oil: The oil helps in achieving a creamy consistency—choose one like olive oil, avocado oil, or melted coconut oil.

  • A pinch of salt: Just a pinch to enhance the flavor.

Instructions:

Add the granola to a food processor or high-quality blender. Pulse the granola until it begins to clump together. This is what you want. If it goes from finely ground granola to a clump, it means that the granola is beginning to release its oils from our blend of nuts and seeds. This may take a few minutes.

With the food processor running, slowly stream in the oil. Depending on how runny you like your granola butter, you may add more oil. This will help create a creamy and spreadable consistency. Continue processing until your granola butter is smooth.

To enhance the flavors, add a pinch of salt and blend for a final time.

At this point, taste your granola butter. If you prefer it sweeter, add honey or maple syrup. Adjust the salt if needed.

Transfer your freshly made granola butter to a jar. It can be stored at room temperature for a week, or you can refrigerate it to keep it fresh for a longer period.

Ways to Enjoy Granola Butter:

  • On Toast: Spread it on your morning toast or muffin for a delightful breakfast.

  • With Fruit: Use it as a dip for apple slices, banana chunks, or strawberries.

  • In Recipes: Incorporate it into recipes for granola bars, smoothies, or baked goods.
